Flipped Attributes and Text don't stay justified correctly

Good morning,

I have made a dynamic block that calls out cable sizes. Each cable size is set to a visibility state. There are 24 cable sizes that are labeled with just single line text, there is one visibility state that uses an attribute. The attribute is in case the user needs to type something that isn't covered in the list of 24 sizes. Anyway, when I flip the block with a dynamic flip action, the text and attribute doesn't stay centered where it should. I can't for the life of me figure out why it is behaving this way. Also, I would like for the flip arrows to mirror as well, but they don't. Any help is appreciated!

In this example the block hasn't been flipped yet and the text is centered with the line to the left.

This is what it looks like after the block has been flipped. The text is no longer centered on the line to the left and is instead shifted up slightly.

The flip grip moves relative the flip base point which is the center of the line.  Place the grip on the center of the line.  Move the line to where you want the grip and it will flip.  I simplified your block to 4 visibility states.  Regen after changing wire size.

I appreciate your help on the block. I had forgotten about the flip arrows being relative to the flip base point. Also, I had it boiled down to those 4 visibility states as well but I'm a control freak. So I like taking away the possiblity of a user screwing up a field by typing over it, which is why I like the option of having the text in there. If only they would allow the field in single line text to have access to the "block placeholder" option, I would be set. However, if you've ever tried that, it's always been grayed out. I haven't tried it yet, but I wonder if the reason that the text doesn't stay correctly justified when flipped has to do with the flip base point as well, somehow? Anyway, thanks a lot for your help as usual! I have been employing your "Bridge" lookup on most of our blocks in the office and it has been well received. It's been a life saver!

On a seperate note... for some reason my DWG Trueview won't open your drawings to convert them down. I am using Autocad 2014 and it won't open your files. So I just send them to a co-worker that has 2016 and I have him save them down for me. I don't know what's up with Trueview not working but it's super annoying since that's the only reason for its existence! Anyway, just an aside.

you can put those 2 attributes in locked layer - then users can't overwrite fields

but in this case another 2 attributes you can edit only in Properties window

I have tried locking those attributes before but then none of the other actions can be performed on them once they are locked. I need the attributes/text to move with a polar and stretch action for instance and when they are on a locked layer, they don't move.

Actually nevermind, that did work. My bad! Still though, how come the text is moving up when it is flipped? Even though there are ways around it... it still is bothering me that I can't figure it out.

I believe the text base point is the bottom left regardless of what you set the justification to.  It flips based on the test base point not the justification point.
