dynamic options disappear when brought from another .DWG

So, I had a DWG that had a bunch of blocks called photo_det as blocks representing smoke detectors. Let's call this dwg A. The smoke detecotr symbols in dwg A didn't match the symbols I was using in "dwg B". I needed to put smoke detectors matching my company's symbol in the same locations on a different file. So rather than doing the same work twice, I took "dwg A" and did RENAME and changed photo_det to SMOKE DETECTORS, knowing that when I copied them into "file B" that the blocks would take the appearance of the preexisting SMOKE DETECTORS blocks in file B.

It worked fine, but I was surprised that the copied smoke detectors from dwg A don't have a dynamic drop down for visibility states like the smoke detectors I had already made in dwg B. Why didn't they pick up this aspect of the block?

Also, the basepoint moved, but I hear that has to do with whether it is set as fixed or not.

I took out all identifying info and left what remained of the blocks, if you need to see them.

It's because your X Y and Z scales of the block are different.

Make the block scale uniformly and the dynamic properties will reappear once the scale is sorted.

Your destination file already had a block with the same exact identical name in it, butt different parts: RENAME command in the destination file should take care of it, just change the name.
