Dynamic C-Channel

I have a simple C-channel Dynamic Block with a linear parameter set up and stretch action to 20'

In this application I want to be able to show 1" Dia. holes and it could be as many as 1 to 6 holes in each piece of c-channel.

The holes are never in the same spot on the channel. They differ with each project I work on. 

 One way I have done this in the past is creating a visibility parameter, to show the channel with one, two holes, three holes etc. etc. and then use the point and move action to position the holes in the correct location.

Can this be done another way like selecting how many holes I need and providing the dimensions where they would be along the channel?

Take a look at this dynamic block. The dimensions are based on distances between holes. I left the parameter's arrows in place. If you prefer, you can make changes in the properties window.
