Dynamic Blocks

I have created a dynamic Section block where I can rotate my arrow directions and tried to also get the block to stretch downward but my attributes aren't stretching with it. I checked all kinds of forums and see the position has to be set to Locked so I tried that and it still doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong?

I have attached the block.

Thanks,

Jason

Every attribute within a dynamic block must have a unique tag.  You have two attributes with the tag '#' and two with the tag '##'.  Give them their own tag and the stretch will work fine.

OK, I gave each attribute it's very own unique tag, value, etc. The attributes still will not move with the dynamic stretch.

What else am I missing?

You must have;

Lock position = YES

AND

unique names.

It also looks like #2 and ##2 are not included in the Stretch3 selection set.

I may misunderstand the functionality you are looking for, but that seems like it might not be the most user friendly way to set up a section callout.  I would think that the attached file might offer a more user-friendly setup.

Well we use our Section Callout in many views and need both the text and arrow direction to be rotational. Sometimes in opposite directions.

And now that you mention it I did forget to redo the stretch to include the new attributes. I did have the Lock set to YES but when it still wasn't working I switched it back...lol.

It now works!

Thanks!

I have also attached the new working block if you or anyone else would like to use it. I find it quite handy!
