Dynamic Blocks keep losing functionality

I'm experiencing an issue where my dynamic blocks stop functioning properly over time. I recall seeing a post about this a while back, but I haven't been able to locate it again.

These blocks have been in use for several years without problems, so I'm confident the issue isn't with the block definitions themselves.

I can remove the blocks, purge the drawing, and reinsert them—after which they work correctly for a while. However, at some point later, they stop functioning again.

Here are a couple examples of what I'm experiencing.

The block pictured below has grip points on all four quadrants, allowing the column bubble to be moved or inserted in the correct orientation. Eventually, the grips stop working as intended.

The block pictured below contains a rotation parameter for a span symbol, which eventually stops responding as intended.

When you select these blocks and right-click Reset Block, do the blocks return to a functional state? If so, there may be an error in the dynamic properties of the blocks in some way.

I thought the same thing, but that did nothing.

These blocks have been working for a number of years but suddenly stopped. Only difference is a newer version of AutoCAD.

It's possible that proxy elements are present in the blocks.

We once had a problem with rectangles created with Soficad.

When these drawings were opened in AutoCAD without Soficad active, the blocks behaved as if they were static and lost their dynamics.

Since you say you have a new version of AutoCAD, it may be that a Plug-In or Add-On was not installed again

@Jonathan3891 Can you post a drawing with these blocks in?

It can just be a blank drawing containing just those blocks.
