Dynamic Block

My AutoCAD freezes when I try to save and close block editor while working on a dynamic block. I would like to create an array action in a direction (a line that its length is restricted by constrains). As you can see in the attached "col.dwg" file. I have a dynamic block. I would like to edit the dynamic block (at the right side) to look like the one at the left side (not a dynamic block yet). rectangles should be stretched to fill the line length in the direction (read arrow). everything should be updated with 3 parameters. (currently 72, 14 and 20").

Do you want to start from a shorter (less than 72") entity? Is 72" the Maximum this needs to be? Assuming the Rectangle needs to follow with the Height.

Simplify to start with. Work the Height and the Array then worry about the width top an bottom.

Make each peice work beofre moving to the next and test each time an Action is added.
