Dynamic block with "sliders"

Hello, 

I am trying to create a dynamic block with variable lenght and "sliders" in the middle. I am using a bunch of stretch commands, but my problem is that when used, the block can easily be broken by having the sliders override each others. Is there a better tool I can use, or a way to prevent the sliders from colliding with each others ?

PS : This is my first post, please inform me of any problem with it.

Why not move B-C so it's in the middle. I know it is not visually nice, but at least it won't interfere with A-B or C-D

I'm sorry I don't get what you mean. How can I move B-C to the middle ? I should specify that I would like to add or remove sliders as needed maybe.

Move the grips for B-C so they are in the middle of the vertical lines that they stretch.

How did you do the parameter with a yellow lock that can't be seen ? there are two of them and they have formula as expression

First: Here attached an improved version. (the first attempt was still buggy). 

To your question: I will create a video to show you what I did. This will take a while, I will coming back ASAP.

I tried to show the procedure as detailed as possible, so you can follow and understand what I did. In practice I would simplify some steps, but I think this way you can better understand how it works.

Well first of all, Thank you VERY much for your time and dedication !! The video helped a lot, as I am mostly self taught in autocad, and never used dimensional parameters before.

If I may ask, the only thing I don't really understand is the difference between the yellow and the blue paramter, AKA the one found in "paramtertric" tab vs the one found in "block editor"  tab 

PS : there are probably gramatical errors in my posts, sorry I am not native english

Ok I think I understand now (should have tested before asking)

The yellow one can have formulas and don't have handle. The blue ones are the opposite of that.

Is that correct or am I missing something ?

Assuming you want to draw a geometry as shown in the attached image (two arc's, tangentially connected with two lines). Do it (for testing) with the usually common AutoCAD commands. 

And now change the distance 10 to 25 (e.g. using the stretch command). You will have to repair some  destroyed geometry. And/or change one or both of the radii. What a lot of work is needed each time to get the correct result. 

Now we do it using the power of Parametric:

Wow, you sir, are epic. Thank you very much. I've spent hours learning on my  own and surching videos and tutos, but asking on this forum (and thus, your answers) have been by far the best solutions and explanations I got. Plus your videos show a few neat tricks I'll be sure to use. A thousand thanks, truly.
