dynamic block with dynamic max distance

Visual question so please look at the block. I would like to stretch Distance2 (moves the blue vertical line) between the left edge of the horizontal line and the minimum distance. Distance1 controls the horizontal line length. **Problem** If you set a maximum distance to Distance2 and then stretch Distance1, that maximum distance is no longer true. How do I solve this issue?

Your post is a bit confusing. Block behaviour: Distance1 = Linear parameter with stretch action (Maximum Lenght) anchor is at Left Edge. Grip Control is on Right Edge of Distance1. The select set includes Distance2 anchor Location. Distance2 = Linear parameter with move action. Anchor is at Right Edge of Distance1 anchor. Grip control is on the Left Edge. The way the block is presently, Distance2 is dynamic to the right edge grip control because of the anchor point and selection set for the move action. If you want to control the maximum distance1 with Distance2, being the minimum lenght from the left edge so that the move remains static from the left edge, change the anchor point of Distance2 to the left edge with the grip control at the right at the vertical line.

The issue is, the dimension of the blue line is measured from right to left. not left to right. I need to be able to use the property window to type in that distance (distance2).
