Dynamic block stretch center point

Hi,

I have just started to learn about dynamic blocks. I am trying to create a block with dynamic stretch, I need the center point to stay centered after being stretched. This is supposed to be an AC return that there are many custom sizes available. I would like to be able to type the dimension and the block shouldn't lose its center point. For some reason i am unable to make this happen. Your help would be appreciated.

Please see the attached block.

Thank you!

Thank you SO much for your fast response. It is what I wanted but for some reason when I enter a number the block stretches to some random other size. What am i doing wrong?

I don't know.  You would need to post a screencast of your actions for me to know for certain.  Maybe you don't have dynamic input on?  You can see in the screencast that it works fine when I enter the parameter values.

Not sure how to upload screen cast. Please use this link to see what i mean. The block is currently 1'6". When i type 24 I want it to be 2' not 3'6" or 5'6".

I appreciate your help!

What link?  Did you do a quick search for dynamic input and see if that was your issue per my reply?  Did you do a quick search for Autodesk screencast to see how it works?
