Dynamic Block Editor very slow switching Visibility state

Hi,

I have a Dynamic Block which has 3 little simple Blocks (A, B, C) and near each block are 2 Attributes.

Each of this Blocks and Attributes has a Rotate and a move Action.

Block A is repeated 10x, B 4x and C 6x. So I get 240 Visibility States (10*4*6).

Now, when I switch from one Visibility State to an other, it takes 34 seconds to change.

When I select something to hide/show (BVHIDE/BVSHOW) it takes 19 seconds to change.

So, to set all the Visibility States it will take me (19+34)*240=12720 seconds = 212 minutes = 3.53 hours.

Is there a faster way to handle this?

Did I do something wrong?

It switches normally (Fast) here. Did you try closing AutoCAD completely then reopen?

Hi, thanks for the quick try and answer.

Yes I did. Since I have other things to do in between, I am etiding my DynBlock since monday....

I restarted a few time already  🙂

So I guess it has something to do with my configuration/graphic card/OS/PC...

Hi friends,

I made a small video to show you how slow the switch between visibility states is (on my pc).

My config:

 - Windows 10 Enterprise,  10.0.19045 Build 19045, RAM 64GB
 - Intel Core 12th Gen, i9-12950HX, 2300Mhz, 16 Core, 24 Logical Processors
 - Western Digital SSD 1TB: pc sn810 sdcpnry-1t00-1006

 - Autocad 2024.1.2,  U.152.0.0

 - NVIDIA RTX A3000, 12GB, Laptop GPU

Does anyone have an idea, what the problem could be?

Maybe the block itself?

Some setting(s) in Autocad?

Best regards and thanks for any help...

I have ran across this on blocks that have many visstates.

It has been a while but I think toggling the ghost state to off helps the situation.
