DYNAMIC BLOCK ARRAY EQUALLY

Hello all,

I would really appreciate some help in including a dynamic array of sorts to the block included in the attachments. I would really love to know the sort of step by step process if possible as I am a bit fresh to autocad, but also understand if this may be asking a lot. I'll include a file below that hopefully can better explain what I need help with but feel free to request more information. The spacing between shelves (center-to-center) shouldn't exceed about ~11". I have no clue how to set up lookups which i've seen as a solution to this problem floating around, and I have no clue how to use parameter functions which I've seen @TheCADnoob use in a block that has a function similar to what I would like to introduce into this block.

Again I realize I may not be explaining what i need too well but hope it comes through better in the drawings.

Thank you for your time, all.

I'm not quite sure how to approach this.  The shelves need to also align with the shelf support increments, along with having a minimum top and bottom placement, yes?

Would all the shelves have an even spacing?  vs say, 2 at 5" and one at 10",  or a situation where there could be 3 at 8" each or 4 at 6" each.

For that one I used an array (not a dynamic block array) inside the block driven by parameters.

That wont work in your situation (at least not as easily) because the first element in the array is in a fixed position relative to the structure. With your shelves, you will need to move the array basepoint in addition to the array action.

Ill have to look into it a little more to see if there is something that could make that work. Also @MMcCall402 brought up a good question.
