It's certainly possible if you put the 'form' inside the block.  If you don't want it to plot, then put it on a non-plotting layer.  See screencast.

Dear Libbya,

First of all Thank You very much for your prompt reply to my query.

But I think I am not able to understand or make you understand what I need. So I am attaching the Dynamic block which was created. If you could check, it contain lots of variations/possibility & type of AHU. Now, we want to make this simple. What I mean is, the person using this block may not know the abbreviations used in dynamic block, but know what all sections are to be used.

So is there any ways create checklist where a person ticks the check box for all required sections to be part of one AHU, and the output is one block with all the sections.

Attachment 1 Dynamic block with various possible combinations

Attachment 2 Dynamic block with various sections or compartment available.

Don't know if this topic should be here or in lisp.

Thanks & Regards,

K. Peter

I understood what you are asking for and what I showed you fits that description.

The list of individual options can be whatever you like.  If you want actual check marks and boxes for the check marks to go in, you can add those to the visibility states as well.  I gave a silly generic example, but it can be used in the manner you desire.  This will allow the user to go back to the block and change one check box independently of the others in order to make a correction.  How does that differ from what you desire?

You have a great start to the block since all the visibility states are in the Attachment 1 AHU block. Check out Libbya's post on creating a double-lookup table and go through the video solution to your problem and you will see the solution works. It will take time, patience and accurate typing to get the lists accurate in the lookup tables. I would start with just 3 or 4 of the visibility states in the lookup tables and get those working correctly then add a few more, check those, add a few more. As is stated in the Double Lookup post the text must be absolutely the same in the visibility states and lookup tables.

Below is a snip of adding an additional check mark to the visibility states.

Sorry about that - I usually save to 2013 version because I know not everyone is on auto renewal. 2013 version attached!

Neaton, it's a nice block that demonstrates the concept very well.  Thanks for posting it.  There are a couple of slight issues, though.  You're missing a visibility state - 0-2-3.  Also, in order for the block to function immediately upon insertion, the as-drawn state of the block must match a row of the double lookup and that row must match the topmost visibility state.  The as-drawn state has all of the flip parameters not-flipped which equates to the state 1-2-3.  That state is not topmost on the list.  Because of this you have to click one of the flip grips to get it working.  If you move the 1-2-3 state to the top of the list it works immediately upon insertion.

Thanks, Libbya. I was wondering why I had to click a flip parameter twice but hadn't had time to think it through.
