Change hatch pattern in dynamic block

I have a dynamic block I want to change the hatch pattern, but when I do, it does not update with the width change. It seems to only be in the array part of my block.

If it works originally,

make your new hatch in a rectangle off to the side, and Match Properties to the existing one.

That way, it is not a new object that will need to be included again in any other actions.

Don't forget to delete the other one

That did not work. I can change the color doing that, but not the pattern. It defaults to the lowest width defined.

I do it all the time.

May be an issue with your match properties settings?

I have the same options checked.

Perhaps you could try on the file I uploaded?

So I did download the block.

That is a very complex thing!

I saw that the width hatch does not follow if width is changed after height.

Bring height back down and then back up and it is OK.

Not sure what is going on there, sorry.

If what I saw is not your issue, I'm at work, and don't have the time to go any further into that block.

Sorry.

Thanks, I can live with doing that. Never thought to try it.

Glad to help.
Maybe a different block for each width of block could be less complicated.
I don't know that much about concrete blocks.
Seems like the ability to tweak variables in the Properties Palette would help.
Set some in frequently used configurations, and copy/paste them into a Tool Palette.
These are all the same block, with various visibilities, and on different layers:
