Change Block's Pulling Location

So couldnt figure out how to explain this in the title well, but we have blocks at work that pull locations from 0,0. While is works great sometimes I'd like to pull from other locations. I do floorplans for the exhibit industry and some times the booths aren't always just a square or rectangle, and my "0,0" location needs to be pulls from a different point but have it feel like its 0,0. If that makes sense.

A better description and an example block would help others help you.

Yeah...sadly i dont know what i can get away with from sending out in the open. Not my files to share. Let me try and snip what im looking at and try to explain better that way.

Post an example block that is of your own making (does not contain any proprietary secrets) and highlights your specific question.

Hopefully the attached snippit will help me explain. So i have an odd shaped booth. And i have to call out car locations for the client. Old way is just pull dim lines from point to point...but its messy and cluttery.

We have a block that will pull from 0,0,0 and autofill the distances based off that...my question is that with the red circles can i adjust so that it pulls my X/Y from those points instead of defaulting to 0,0,0. So if i sections these off in rectangles id just adjust which blocks i needed to pull its X/Y from those points?

Hopefully that helps a little.

Yes, that's very possible. You need Linear Parameters with Stretch Actions.

Additionally, you might need to add Constraints to some of your block objects so that editing one object will cause another to maintain its relationship to the first.
