Bracket Polar and Linear Stretch Actions

I'm trying to combine polar and linear stretch actions to a curly bracket but cannot keep it from being deformed.  Using the Colinear and Coincident Constraints does not help.  The lines should be colinear and have equal lengths.  The attached drawing is the closest I can get.

Using constraints with dynamic parameters/actions very rarely helps and is often the cause of issues.  Here's a screencast showing how to get it working.
