Attached is a batt insulation block.

The array action requests a numerical input not allow a expression which is ½ of the height (H) in this case.

Prefer to scale up first , then array, but the array input could not be entered as a variable per the height changes?

Hi @linkboy,

I am unsure what you are trying to do with an Array and this dynamic block.  Is the original geometry too tall? Are you trying to vary the height as well as the number of pieces displayed when you lengthen the pattern?

I think an array is the hard way to do this.  Attached is the insulation block I use and the custom insulation hatch I made for it.  Screencast shows the various functions.

To use for wall cavity insulation. Wall profile is different. Try to setup one D-block with two actions. First to stretch or scale to the right size fit into wall cavity, then pull the grip as you have shown to a certain length.

Conceptually it is similar to a sample D-block, stud. The stud is a 2x family studs, width is 1 1/2" never changed in the D-block definition. User can specify 2x4 or 2x11, and populate one stud to more. However, the batt graphic above having a variable spacing when you try the array.

There might be a way to do in array. The issue is different thickness batt; the spacing changed. Thank you for sharing, they are just great!
