Block editor is slow when zooming in and out.

Hi all, hope you are all doing well!

I am back with yet another question and would really appreciate some assistance. Hopefully an easier question than my usual questions though!

So, I currently have a Dynamic block with 248 Parameters, 16 Double Lookups and 14 Triple (Double would have likely still worked, but I have already started now!). These quantities will increase by, quite a lot also. The block is about 2/3 complete.

The block runs fine in itself and does what I need it to relatively well. However, when in Block Editor, zooming in and out causes a lot of delay as the text for the parameters and actions updates (the text changes size on the drawing, to remain a constant size relative to your screen).

I know this is the exact issue, as when I have any action command (Line, etc) at all selected, the text size freezes until the action is complete. In this case, zooming in and out with mouse wheel causes no issues at all.

So, my question is. Is there any way I can force this text to remain a constant size? These slight freezes, caused by the gradual zooming in and out to edit parts of the drawing, are slowing me down quite substantially.

I know the obvious solution would be to simplify the block. But, I am still fairly new to making Dynamic Blocks and wouldn't know how to achieve the same results with less parameters. Also, everything is fine when the text isn't updating constantly. So there shouldn't really be a need to attempt to simplify it.

If you experienced CAD users haven't managed to find a solution to this, I think it is fairly safe to assume that there is no solution.

Maybe something I should take up with AutoCAD Support, opposed to here?

Unfortunately it doesn't look like it's possible. The only parameter relevant to the situation is BPARAMETERSIZE, but this sets the size of the text relative to the display

See, now this is why I need you guys! I can use CAD (to a certain extent), but I know nothing about system variables, or what goes on in the background of AutoCAD.

Appreciate you trying to find something for me. I might have a play around with that variable, see if it helps at all. maybe smaller text would be less to update? I don't know, I'm clutching at straws here.

OK, it didn't help at all. But it was worth a try, I suppose. However, it has made my parameters look much less cluttered. Much easier to read them now. So that was still very useful, thanks!

Just a quick FYI for anybody else who is having similar issues. I am managing to alleviate most of the slowdown/frustration by Isolating the part of the block I am currently working on. 

Previously, I only used this for focusing on certain aspects of a block/drawing. It helps by hiding geometry that overlapping, has snap points in the way or making the drawing too busy to focus easily.

However, it works very well in this scenario also. If you isolate the part of the block you are currently working on, the Parameters aren't just hidden, AutoCAD acts as though they don't exist. I assumed they would continue to update in the background, but be invisible. But, there is an immediate performance boost and everything runs perfectly smooth again!

Granted this won't work in every scenario, but it certainly helped me.
