 Hi,

I would like to align a block with poly-line with 2 points.

Same as you can use the measure command to put blocks on a line with a patch distance I would like to do the same but the block should snap with 2 points on the line. is there anyone who can help me with this?

Welcome to the Forums

Edit your block. Find the parameters tab, scroll down until you find the alignment parameter. Place it on whichever line you want aligned.

Now whenever you move the block, if you use the alignment grip it will align with whatever line you select

What is a "patch distance"?  Are you trying to create a block that is an array?  Picture worth thousand words. 🙂  Post a drawing with what you've attempted and what you want.

  1. Add an alignment parameter set at the block insertion point.
  2. Add an array parameter set to allow you to array the block.

Having these two parameters will allow you to place the block automatically aligned and then drag to array your desired number.
