Array behaves wrong when stretching block

Hi everyone

I'm trying to put an array inside a block which I can already stretch.

The array is part of a distance which doesn't move correctly with the stretch.

In the picture you can see the pattern, this pattern should start at the green line and stop at the Red line.
Can any help me fix this and explain the process?

Thanks in advance!!

BR

Justin

This is how my parameters look like.
I can stretch to all sides.

Distance3 controls the array and is included in the stretches.
For some reason it doesn't stretch. Even though it is included in the stretch.

I need to find some sort of way to constrain distance3 in that exact place on the model.

Let me know if anyone has an idea how to help.

Add Distance3 to the stretch parameter of Distance1 and make sure CHAIN ACTION on Distance3 is set to YES

Hi Walker

Thanks for helping.

When i do this and stretch the block vertically, the array moves double the pace of the rest of the block resulting in this:

Stretching horizontally also breaks the block

I don't have access to AutoCAD at the moment, but remove your array "line" from all actions apart from the array itself and see if that helps

Genius

I never would've thought.

The pattern did indeed move twice the speed of the stretch.

Now it works as intended.

Have a good one!
