Array and Scale associative hatch

In the attached block, I have 2 rows of circles with an associative hatch (yellow dots) that get scaled and arrayed. The left side works fine. The right side is setup the exact same way, however, when you change the size of the dot (lookup menu "#4 Horiz" to "#8 Horiz" the circles change size but the hatch does not. As soon as you stretch it left/right, even if you don't actually change the overall width, the hatch will reset itself. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance

I've had associative hatches malfunction in a dynamic block before with no logical reason why.  When it does go wonky I just pop it open in the block editor, change nothing, then just exit and save, and the hatch fixes itself.

Maybe consider replacing the horizontal bar with a donut vs the circle with associative hatch.

The two sides aren't set up the same.  On the left you scale both the boundary and the hatch.  On the right you scale only the boundary.  The easy way to make it work is to scale both.  Because it is a solid hatch, it doesn't matter if it's scaled.

Thanks @Libbya! You're a lifesaver, per usual. I could have sworn I tried that at some point during my experimentation.
