Guys....I have tried to my hearts content to try to figure out how to do this to no avail.  I have a block here called driveway apron, (inside this driveway dwg) and would like to insert it, and be able to stretch it to fit the field conditions.  If anyone would be interested in looking at this I'd be eternally greatful!  I will upload with this thread. thanks

looking at the block, this is a driveway apron.  The "X" distance will be variable from 9 feet to 30'.  The "Y" distance just stays the same.  So all that needs to happen is the width stretches.

I think you can edit the block now to your requirements.

Sorry guys...I should have been more detailed....I have re-uploaded.  The entire side will move. See attached.

That's why I asked above 😉

Next question: Stretch to one side only or stretch symmetrical to both sides?

Ok, >>here<< I show you both variants.

At the end you can define the minimum and maximum values for the Linear parameter in the properties window.

(in the video I pointed to where you can type it. )

just the one side stretching is fine!  Looks great.  Sorry about the confusion 🙂

Did you ever upload that block you did that stretched on one side?  I saw it in the video but can't find the dwg. Thanks

No, I didn't upload the block. You can create it yourself following the steps which are demonstrated in the video. (And at 1:10 you can stop watching the video ... )
