Annotative attribute position in block

Hi,

I'm trying to make a simple gridline-block with dynamic annotative bubble to label them.

The bubble itself is an annotative nested block  - cause i only want the bubble and label to scale - whose position is movable with a simple move and stretch action.

I'm struggeling with the position of the attribute. It has to keep it's position in the center of the bubble, rescaling acentric.

I tried to add different annotation scales in the block itself and move the attribute for each scale. Still when importing it in a new file with no annotation scales defined it doesn't work properly, unless you edit the block en attsync it (file attached)

Is there another way to keep the annotative attribute attached to a position for different scales dynamically (acentric)?

I'm not familiar with constraints, is this an option?

Thx

The problem with the attribute moving is that the base point of the bubble is set to bottom end due to which it scales from that point when annotation scale changes. If we try to change the basepoint of the bubble to center and justify the attribute to middle center the problem seems to iradicate, but since the main block is not annotative the centerline of grid doesn't coincide with bubble when the annotation scale changes(See screenshot).

My suggestion would be to make the block annotative and explode the nested bubble block.

See attachment I have created the annotative block and I have modified few things like putting up the rotation parameter near the bubble and have not included the attribute in the rotation.

Hi,

thx for your reply and effort.

Unfortunately i'd like only the head/lable to scale and not the entire gridline when changing the annotation scale;

the drawing of the building and it's measurements are fixed, so otherwise we have to restretch every gridline for each annotative scale (see screenshot).

Could there be another workaround?

Try the attached block. I've just changed one that I use.

It's not annotative. You choose the scale from a drop down list. You can add scales to it.

The line can be lengthened and rotated by itself and will always be at the edge of the circle.

Hi,

Thx for the suggestion.

I came up with a solution for the other block as well; i moved the base point of the nested block label back to center and used a wipeout to trim the gridline when it scales.
