Alignment question

Hi all!

I would like to create a block. There should be an object and a leader to it with a text.

I would like to make the object ONLY to get affected by the alignment parameter, and i want the leader/text stay horizontal.

I even tried with nesting the objects block to an other block. I mean I inserted the block of the object (with the alignment parameter inside) and made the text seperatly, and created a block out of these two. But then the alignment doesnt work at all.

Any solution to this?

Nope.  The alignment parameter functions outside the rest of the block and behaves exactly as the rotate command used on a block.  There is no way to separate parts of the block to be affected/unaffected by that rotation.

This is very lame from a software that asks 2227 EUR for a year to use....
