Ok, I've downloaded and installed it, it's much better then the first version, it now is possible to use it, if you don't mind a repair after every time your users have logged off. (we use the MSI like most (if not all) companies do, not the setup.exe)
The problem is caused by the check for roaming or local profile. Installations in a network environment, usually have installations preformed by the system account, or by an account with administrator rights on the workstations. These accounts NEVER have roaming profiles!
The user who starts the program, does have a roaming profile. Most big organizations use high security (bank, governments) which means deleting the local profile after a user logs off. Since the detection during first installation sees "no roaming", the template files are written in "*Profile*\local settings\application data\autodesk", and that directory "*Profile*\local settings" is excluded from roaming by default. Why all other files are saved in "*Profile*\application data\autodesk", and just the templates (about 800kB) in the "local settings", I do not understand.
I've fixed it using a transform in the following way:
Remove the condition ("Roaming="1") from entry "DIRCA_SETROAMING" in the "InstallExecuteSequence" table, to always make it run. Change the condition (Roaming = "0") to "0" for the entry "DIRCA_SETLOCAL" in the "InstallExecuteSequence" table, to prevent it from running. In the "CustomAction" table for the entry "DIRCA_LOCALUSERFILESFOLDER", change in the "Target" the part "[LOCALAPPDATAFOLDER]" to "[APPDATAFOLDER]".
I would advise to save ALL userdata in the "*Profile*\Application Data" in future builds.
Kind Regards,
