To whom it may concern,
I have multiple files containing 3D objects. I need to calculate the surface area of these objects. I know how to use the measure tool and determine by selecting points, but these objects are irregularly shaped and this method would be very time consuming. I know in other versions of CAD the user can select the object and easily have CAD calculate surface area of the selected object. Is Autodesk DWG TrueView 2020 capable of performing these calculations? If so may someone walk me through it? I have attache one of the 3D objects.
