To ensure that you are seeing exactly what they want you to see, whomever
sent you the DWG and DXF files could generate a DWF file instead. If they
are unwilling, then you need to get some different software. If this is
going to be a regular thing, you can purchase the Autodesk DWF Composer
product. This product includes 4 applications - one of which is a DWG/DXF
viewer. Autodesk DWF Composer is $199. If you are not concerned about 100%
fidelity and spending money is out of the question, there are 3rd party
companies that make free DWG viewers. If you type "free DWG viewer" into
www.google.com, you can get a list.

I have just downloaded the dwf viewer, however the factory sent me files
with an extension other than dwf, what can I do to view these files.
