DWF w/ image to PLT trouble

We received some DWFs with scanned images embedded into the dwf. Our version
of Reprodesk does not understand dwf so I tried to make plt files using a HP
DesignJet 750C+ (E/A0) windows driver. The plot file is made but the image
is left behind and all we get is a little black box. It seems the plot
driver works great if there are vector lines in the dwf but not if it is an
image.

I was able to convert the dwf to pdf but it was a slow process and produced
pdfs that are 8-10 times larger than the dwf.

Our plotter is an Oce 9400. Upgrading our reprodesk is not an option at this
time. Is there a better plot driver to use or a setting buried in the plot
driver or the dwf viewer that will help?

DWF viewer 7.0
windows 2000

thanks

You could print to an HPGL driver, capture the HPGL file, and send the HPGL
to the 9400 using Repro Desk.

After creating the HPGL2 file, you can check the HPGL2 file (PLT) file with
our free BitView.

http://www.tgsoft.ch/English/products/bit-view.htm

If it apears correct in BITView, then it should also pot correct to a
Designjet....
(Be carreful do not use a newer HP5000/800 or 4000 driver for your HP750
plotter)

It also has an embeded analyser that give you some informations about
driver,plotsize,used command and some other...

Toni
