What to most people set General Precision to?
I have been dealing with these long numbers like 2.123 and have decided to limit that. I am thinking 2.12 only... like a slide rule. This is sheet metal that I am working with. I don't want to burden the shops with these fine tolerances. I mean, 2.10000" really means that, not 2.1".
Max precision: 9 decimals. Not only is it entertaining to see the rounding errors and the conversions between metric and imperial, but it can also help when the inputs for patterns are slightly larger than 3 or 4 decimals.
p.s. Shop drawings should only be to the level the shop is capable of producing at a reasonable price.
