Sheet metal bending radius rules.

How does Fusion 360 handle sheet metal bending rules, like radius.  Is it up to me to state or are there suggestions.. or what?  I am building a 19" 3U (5.25" high) rack mount enclosure.  I am about done with the front panel.  So now it is on to the cage or actual enclosure with bends and PEM nuts.  This will be made with 1/16" aluminum sheet.  It might be 6061 or 5052 of some T or another. I will be designing the top and sides with CE standard air slots.  I know what I want as I have build a model out of 1/8" without bends using my compound miter saw, table saw and drill press.  Since there few bends on the model I thought I would check in here to see if there are any videos on doing this which would explain things like radius, etc.  I know Solidworks does.

Just thought I would float that out there.

And Yes, it would be nice to have a flat metal function in Fusion 360 about now.

1.  I disagree.  In my drawing there is one sketch with a single rectangle.

2.  Just tell me what dims you would like to see. .,,

3.   I think the cage dims are 4.75" x 17" x 17".

1.  Why, oh why do you keep disagreeing with me rather than asking for clarification - why oh why would I tell you that there are two sketches if there is only one?  You must think that either I am smoking something, or that I am not ...  ...why would you presume to take advice from somebody who...

Have you gone through the Help>Tutorials?

2. No, this is your design.  You tell me the dimensions.

3. Let me know when you know (and start a new file from scratch with only one sketch (and correct dimensions).

I am expecting to see something "similar" to this.

Three posts was not intended.  The dialog box kept saying before it would post I had to make a correction, but it was actually posting each time.

Is there a way to delete these extra posts?

OK I will, Cat Whisperer, but I need coffee as I just got up.  I sleep 6 hours a day.

In the file I sent you there was one sketch and it was called sketch2.

It is not about what is in the timeline as that can contain deleted sketches.

Deleted as in No Longer There in the Browser.

That is just the history to how I got to that point which is one sketch named Sketch2.

I think we should stay focused on what is in the browser and not the timeline if that is alright with you.

I need to wake up here. Thanks for your help.  I hope this is leading to a wrap around with flaps.

Wrap Around as  in a U shape with lips for connecting with screws, the top and bottom and the back section that closes the U shape.

OK attached is what I think you asked for.

Just like I thought.

1) Create 2D box in Sketch to 17" x 4.75".

2) Positive Push Pull for 3D back to 13.250".  Now 3D is 17" x 4.75" x 13.25".

3) Offset neg from outside of Back view by -0.0625" (1/16").

4) Neg Push Pull up to 0.0625 (1/16") of Front Side (13.1875" from Back).  Now you have a hollow box.

5) Create new box from Top view that leaves 0.75" in the front and on the left and right sides, but exceeds the back edge of first box cutting the back away.

6) Neg Push Pull to clear.

DONE!
