Pursuant to my post yesterday about odd results from trying to get deflection results from gravity load on a glass disk, I am doing some more checking to see if I'm doing something wrong or inconsistent. I have run across what I think may be a bug in software operations.
It seems that trying to delete a static stress study that is run on a model leads to some level of non-response from the software, and then if/when it disappears after repeated deletes, the Workspace tab becomes depopulated, and the only choice you get to see is "New Drawing". I had thought previously that maybe this was related to using the cloud solution process, but I ran these locally today, and saw the same behavior.
I'll note that switching to another model tab and then coming back seems to get the Workspace tab choices back, although you also get the stress study back too.
So, what's the deal with deleting a simulation?
