Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the forum!  I did some research today and am able to reproduce your issue using a Mac App Store build.  I am sorry this occurred.  We will look at resolving this ASAP.  In the meantime, you can download Fusion 360 from our website and use that. This issue does not exist in that build.  Your data and entitlements/subscriptions are tied to your Autodesk ID so you will not see any loss of data or entitlements.

Thank you,

Hey kris.berg,

That did the trick. Thank you sir. No need to apologize, if every issue in the future is resolved this fast I will never have an issue with Fusion.

Tell you boss that a very satisfied user said you need a raise!

Prosit!

Hi Philippe,

I was told to uninstall the App Store version of fusion and reinstall the software directly from the Fusion 360 web site, and that did the trick.

Happy modeling.

I saw the fix for download PDF problems for mac was to reload Fusion from the site. It seems every time I am forced into an upgrade, or change something, it creates a computer disaster! At least for me. Would you mind posting, in detail, where to go to find the correct link and exactly what steps are to be taken for this direct Fusion download. Am I supposed to delete the version on my MacBook Pro OS 10.10.5 first, or......???

Thanks

Hi @2herds,

First let me apologize for you having to go through this due to our issue.  You do not have to uninstall your current Fusion 360 version.  To get the version from our site, go to http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/overview and click the "Download Free Trial" button.  When prompted for an email address be sure to use the same email address you use for your Autodesk ID.  It should download a new version of Fusion 360.  This version will not go to /Applications but instead an icon should be created in your dock which allows you to launch the application. Let me know if you have any issues.

Thank you,

We have temporarily addressed this issue on Mac App Store, with a final solution coming in April.  The temporary solution requires that you export your PDF files to the Downloads directory.  For more information please see this post https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/pdf-output-on-mac-app-store-is-quot-fixed-qu... .

Thank you,

Thank you. I was emailed a fix to update Fusion 360, where the icon stays on the screen. That is working fine now.

Something just came up that locked it up, but I may have done something wrong, as it was the 1st time I was trying to learn it. I had made male and female pipes, threaded, and converted them so as to join them rotational. To my surprise the male rotated and connected. Not sure how to disconnect them now.
Anyway, I tried to use the motion function and selected the male and nothing happened. Then it locked Fusion up and I had to force close it. I probably did something wrong and will study it more later. For what it is worth I did see the male’s ½ moon circle thing and a blue line with a flag at its end, which is what I thought would rotate the pipe in and out.

Great program, thanks

I am new to Fusion, but I did the how to update post in the Messages and the PDF drawing did download for me on my MacBook Pro version v10.10.5

From the PDF icon, I selected "just the opened sheet drawing" and picked the downloaded file's location on my mac.

Hope that helps some.
