Decals aren't showing in the Render?

Hello-

When I render the decal model with the decal applied, it disappears. Any ideas?

I believe @cekuhnen has answered this already. In short. You need to make sure the surface normals point outward.

I think Trippy is ligthning right.

Your surfaces are inverted so the textures are on the inside!

I don't know if there is a way to invert the surface, but what I do is thicken the body a little bit (very small usually in decimal places 0.0001) so that it turns into a solid body (white cylinder) from a surface (orange cylinder). After this, you can apply the decal with no problem.

You got an answer to this in another thread but I'll answer here as well. Switch to the patch workspace and there's an option to reverse the normals of a surface. You might want to try stitching the surfaces into a solid body first.
