Cannot Open File of This Type

I seem to have a corrupt file that Autodesk Design Review 2013 won't open.  It is a very large file.  I get a "cannot open file of this type" message.  Any suggestions on how this can be fixed?  We will lose a lot of data if we can't open this file.

Define "very large file", and what OS and system spec you are using.

That may be too big if you are running win7 32bit too.
