After the update everything was fine. I updated some Nvidia drivers and started having some issues. At first I thought the program was hanging at launch, but now if you let it sit for about a minute it finally opens. Before the nvidia update the program opened pretty quickly.

Now it doesn't always do this, sometimes Fustion opens fast. So it is an intermittant problem for some reason.

I have not updated my driver in quite a bit.  But all my co workers are also having the same issue I'm having.  The program will either crash at launch or crash while diamentioning in the sketch enviroment.

@Anonymous, There do have one issue in sketch environment that application might crash sometimes when creating geometries/dimensioning, sorry about this! We have added one fix to resolve it internally (FUS-18841) and also will publish a update very soon. Will keep you updated when it's ready, thanks for sharing!

@Anonymous, You mentioned another issue is "fail to start application", we also working on the fix for it and able to provide a update for it very soon. It's related with graphics and might cause application couldn't be started on some machines. Keep you updated. Thank you!

I can't make a Drawing without it crashing. 100% of the time.

I came home to try and learn a little bit of the new lathe after a print I needed. But I can't even make a print.

This failed to start syndrome is very bad. Fusion used to open in my I7 MacBook Air (11 inch) quite fast. But now while trying to demonstrate a project to my client who just came from Scotland and "IT FAILED TO START!"  It started to spin the beach ball going no where. This is bad. Updates seems to have lots of symptoms these days! For your commercial users like me Fusion team should be very careful in designing their updates. Constantly producing symptoms after updating is a very bad experience when we are working on critical projects!

Hi, after the update all the bodies i create look dark, in the shaded visual style, is this normal? I haven't changed any options. Also every time i tried to do a sketch it kept showing the error "Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered", and today it showed the error "cannot get zipimporter instance" both errors have never appeared before and showed after the update.

From what you posted it seems like you're experiencing the graphics card bug.  I'm currently running an EVGA Nividia GTX 750ti, I ran into most of the same problems as you until I updated my driver for my graphics card.  Everything seems to working fine now (knock on wood). As for the black models your experiencing it could either be a new bug, a problem with your graphics card, or a weird setting the update activated.

Please Help! I am also experiencing issues with Fusion 360 crashing after the update. When I start the program my graphic driver crashes and I get a crash report. It is frustrating because I am not able to even start the program and change any settings.

I've tried:

-Reinstalling the program several times, including the clean install recommened by Autodesk.

   - Running Fusion 360 as an administrator

I keep on hearing of people within the community editing their XML files and having success, however, I don't know how to make the appropriate changes. If I could ask other for some assistance in getting this program running again I would be grateful!

@Anonymous There was an update released Tuesday, August 11th that may address this issue.

Were you able to install this update? If so, could you post your direct x diagnostic report here.

1. Launch %windir%\system32\dxdiag.exe
2. Select Save All Information
3. Please reply with the resulting *.TXT file attached

If you haven't been able to install, you may have to go through the clean uninstall procedure one more time, link below.

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-do-a-clean-uninstall-of-Autodesk-Fusion-360.html

After the clean uninstall, go to the below website and select Download Free Trial to start the install process to get the latest update.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
