So i made a drawing from a design and what do i see, the thread i specify in the design isn't vieuwable in the drawing, Why? I put an effort to specify a thread and I can't annotate it. There is no simplified  drawing of the thread you can't even see I made one!Schermafbeelding 2015-06-25 om 18.48.41.pngSchermafbeelding 2015-06-25 om 18.49.20.pngIMG_1614.jpg

Do I need to save it as a .DWG and edit the drawing in Autocad? this can't be the intention of Fusion 360, I want to make standerized drawings but the program doesn't give me the tools to do it. My costumers expect perfect drawings but i can't deliver it.

How can i specify form and place tolerances?IMG_1615.jpg

And after the update how can i ad the title block?

Hi Tom - thank you for your comments.

While we are working to support both GD&T and thread notes they are not currently available in the product. It is really appreciated when you point out shortcomings as it helps us to prioritize our development work; so please continue to let us know when you aren't seeing something you'd expect.

Title block editing is available by double clicking a line or label in the Title block - this currently only supports adding and editing content within the existing title block.

Best,

Scott

Thanks for the response -

Was there a Title block in the drawing when you created it? There should always be one on creation - If you create a new drawing is there a Title block in the lower right hand corner?

In the event it was deleted, unfortunately the only recovery option is to undo the deletion at this point.

If you could let me know which case applies to you it would be very helpful.

Best,

Scott

Closing the loop on the "no titleblock in new drawings" issue for anyone else who encounters this problem, after Tom reset Drawing Preferences the titleblock now appears in new drawings. We do have user specified/created titleblocks on our roadmap but not for a couple of releases, that will solve some of the formatting issues seen when certain fields in the current titleblocks are filled in.

Thanks,

Chris

When will Dimensioning threads be available in drawings? The lack of thread data is a serious short coming when doing mechanical drawings.

@Anonymous, the team is currently laying the ground-work for the hole & thread note feature. I don't have a release date in hand yet, but progress is being made.

Thanks for your patience, and remember you can always stay up-to-date with what the Drawings team is working on by looking at this mural: http://mur.al/bW6QNqDW
