Connector Power BI troubles

Hi,

I created a number of data exchanges with ACC Docs. When I read these into Power BI, sometimes I got these warnings (see list below), however there is nothing wrong with my report. Because when I refresh again, it will import the data.

The warnings are:

  • Query 'xxxx' is accessing data sources that have privacy levels which cannot be used together. Please rebuild this data combination.
  • The credentials provided cannot be used for the AutodeskDataExchange source. Please update the credential type through a refresh or in the Data Source Settings dialog to continue. (Source at {"source":"Data Exchange"}.)
  • Query 'xxxx' references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source. Please rebuild this data combination.

What is going on here? It is frustrating to wait again for an update of my reports.

That's strange, Renzo. We haven't seen such warnings. Are these three warnings for one particular set of exchanges or for all exchanges? Can you share the exchange with me? I will check the behaviour on my side.

Thanks,

Rakesh

Hi Rakesh,

Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not and gives me these warnings.

After a couple of refreshes it does work, but it does not seems stable...

I configured in Power BI a Fact table with the Exchange File. From that, I referenced several tables to this, to create Dim tables. That is the normal way of working within Power BI - but maybe you expect something else.

I can share a PBIX that has issues if I run into these.
