Hi everyone,
I'm using the 30-day trial version of Inventor 2026, and I'm trying to access the Data Exchange feature to share data between Revit and Inventor. According to the official documentation, I should be able to access it in the following ways:
On the Collaborate tab, in the Load panel, click Data Exchange.
Alternatively, from the File menu, click Open > Load Data Exchange.
However, I cannot find the Data Exchange button or option in either of these locations. It simply does not appear in the interface.
What I've tried so far:
Verifying my Inventor version (2026) and ensuring it's up-to-date.
Checking under Tools > Add-ins Manager to see if Data Exchange is listed and enabled.
Running Inventor as Administrator.
Restarting the program and even reinstalling it.
Additional Info:
I'm using the Trial version (30-day) of Inventor 2026.
I'm trying to connect it with Revit using Data Exchange, but the option seems to be missing.
Is this feature not available in the trial version? Or is there something I'm missing during the setup?
Would appreciate any help or guidance!
Thanks in advance,
Ilya
