I am an artist. The last 3 years I've been mastering the art of music production, and I guess I've succeeded because this year the internet/google/God/etc revealed the process of 3D animation to me.
And so, here I am, a music producer learning how to build an animate my own universe. I will create a movie to go with my debut album, which establishes a unique world. In some years, I will form a team and build a video game in that same universe. A super ultra MMORPG. I have full faith!
Thank you Autodesk, I wonder if you are an A.I.
Either way, unlocking these powers is amazing, I'm so excited to do this and this post will probably be a moment of history for myself.
What can I offer to the community now? Hm....
Audio! If anyone is looking for sound design or music, I can do that. All of my art is currently archived, however I will debut my art this year. Follow me via Instagram or Twitter: @11arshaan
Also, I could use some advice. Really, as I learn the tools, I want to establish a proper workflow. I am currently struggling to decide which programs to select for the workflow. There are too many options:
- Maya, Cinema4D, Blender for general DCC
- Substance or Mari for painting?!
- Adobe/DaVinci/Nuke for compositing?!?!?!
- Infinite render engine options
If there are any experienced 3D generalist with experience in multiple applications, I would really appreciate any advice on selecting the right programs. The only confirmed choices I have in my toolset are ZBrush and Unreal Engine.
Anyway, I am Harshaan. Nice to meet you.
