Hello all,

I'm Reneke, working remotely from Pretoria, South Africa.  I've been doing freelance contractual work for some American surveying / scanning companies for the last 6 years, doing as-built models from point clouds in Revit.  I've recently started working with a new surveying company and I'm facing new challenges that I haven't done before.  I hope that I can use this community to help me with some questions I have to ask in creating new Revit families in the family editor using point clouds as a starting point.

Seeing that I'm new on this community, I don't want to ask questions in the wrong forum.  If I want to ask a specific question relating to point clouds being converted via Autocad into Revit family editor, where should I ask my questions?

If I'm right in thinking that this is a workflow starting in Revit, then I'd ask in the Revit forums.
