Hello All,
I have recently joined a start up company as their first mechanical design engineer. The CAD package had already been decided, so I cannot say that I chose to be using Fusion 360 but so far it looks pretty capable for what I need. I am from an automotive background and for the last 5 years have used CATIA V5, so the bar is pretty low. Saying this I have no doubts I will find myself wanting some functionality that CATIA provides and Fusion 360 does not, so please forgive my posts from solely following this format: "In CATIA you can... ...how do I do that in Fusion 360?". I was also previously a bit of an ANSYS nerd so I'm keen to investigate the build in simulation features.
Any questions, fire away.
Tony
Hi @tonySWCR2,
Welcome to the forums;
Fusion should be fine in most parts - it's extremely capable and has lots of cloud features which are super cool if you don't have the Computing power to do so at a reasonable rate.

Hello @tonySWCR2 and welcome.
I think you'll find a lot of help in the Fusion 360 forums, so post away!
