JOB PURPOSE
As part of KI’s expansion there is a unique opportunity for an Autodesk Inventor CAD specialist to implement a new space-planning design and quotation system using Autodesk’s Factory Design Suite. The ideal candidate would have had previous experience using iLogic. The main responsibilities would be:
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Setting up a library of Inventor part files from manufacturers’ original Solidworks files.
Cataloguing and assigning code numbers and prices to component part file into a central database.
Creation of a library of configurable iLogic assemblies to cover the entire range of furniture systems.
Creating a library of 3d assets in Inventor that will be used for planning in 2d AutoCAD using Factory Design Suite.
Set up a template for extracting the BOM from Inventor to a presentable customer quotation.
