How to delete duplicate files that are slowing down my system performance?

Hi there, 
Can anyone suggest me the ways to delete duplicate files on my PC? I have tried several methods already, like using the PowerShell command and file explorer. But these methods are not accurate and I am worried that I may lose some of the original photos. How can I let the memories die?
