Let’s face it! In this fast-paced world full of complexity, movement, knowledge, understanding, uncertainty, and uneasiness, finding your center is hard. Whether you are facing work challenges, personal struggles, family issues, addiction, or anything else, it is often difficult to stay grounded and hold your peace. When life is presenting itself in a particularly hard way, we all tend to “buck down” and “figure it out” on our own. We don’t want to bother others or burden them. This is the normal behavior of most of us. But this doesn’t have to be. We can change this thought process and end up in a better place.
The place I speak of is a place of peace, harmony, community, strength, unity, and love. This is the Autodesk Community. For those who are new to the Autodesk Community, it is a place where you can feel safe, a place where you are not judged, a place where you can grow and seek answers, and a place where you can call home. It is also a place where you can contribute to the greater good. The AC is made up of talented, incredibly inspiring authors/bloggers who want the best for you and who want to give you everything they can to help you succeed. We help you by writing … articles, instructional content, thought-provoking ideas, perspective writings, and anything else. These blog posts are your way of finding peace, seeking answers, capturing time for yourself, whatever you need to feel centered. Beyond the posts, look deeper into those that make the Autodesk Community what it is. Look at the “magicians behind the curtains,” the Autodesk employees who run the back end. They work to build a home for innovation, knowledge, and gathering. Look at the authors themselves. They all have one common thread: "Give unselfishly!” Many of us are not just professionals in our fields, experts in our arenas, but also give all we can to friends, family, and colleagues. We work tirelessly to ensure that others benefit and succeed. In doing so, we help to inspire others to be better.
Many may not know this, but the Autodesk Community and our blog are global. We currently represent 11 languages and hope to continue expanding into many other regions worldwide. Although we are growing to encompass the world, we are still centered in our vision and thought. That vision is to give you a home where you can “hang your hat.” A place where you grow the best way you can. As you peruse the Blog site, know that we are all here for you.
