Why not add a delete function when right click surface

Why not add a delete function when right click surface in the prospector? It seems a regular routine for users to delete things that way.

While I'm no expert, it seems if a surface has no dependencies you can do just that (right click, delete).  However if other objects depend on the surface the option won't appear.  For example when a second surface exists and the selected surface is part of a volume surface, no delete.  Perhaps it would be better if the right click menu showed the Delete option, but showed it grayed out !!

I mean in the prospector, not in model space

Here's a screen capture.  With a single surface and no dependencies, I can delete the surface.  If I add a second surface and a volume surface, the option disappears (because the surface has dependencies).
