Volume Surface DYNAMIC TABLE or more Terrain Statistics Nodes in Dynamo for the Volume Surfaces

Something that has been a weird, and non-dynamic part of Civil 3D is creating a table of surface volumes. There is one 'Insert Cut/Fill Summary ' tool, but it is NOT dynamically linked and has no style that can be edited like all the other surface tables. 

I came across an article about "Create Easy Surface Statistics Labels with Dynamo" and got excited. After trying it, I noticed that it was in Dynamo the Terrain.Statistics does NOT have nodes to pull the volume statistics.

Can we either get more nodes in Dynamo, or a DYNAMIC TABLE for a Volume Surface?

Thank you for your idea. Have you tried Project Explorer for this? I was able to create a dynamic volumes table with these settings:

This looks like a great step in the right direction.  BUT.......

1) In my tests so far, I've been unable to get the resulting table to update when the surface(s) change without going into the project explorer and clicking on Run All Actions.  The table needs to automatically update when the underlying volume surface changes.

2) I would like the ability to format the data cells (control the rounding parameters and add commas to separate thousands places.

@doni49, in your tests did you have the Object Set Action Type set to Dynamic? If so, I'd appreciate it if you'd send me a sample drawing and the workflow you used, because it's likely a defect.

I was looking through my past posts and realized that I never replied to this.  I tried dynamic and the resulting table DID NOT UPDATE after the underlying surface was changed.

But not only is it not updating, it appears to be showing an INCORRECT number.

Upon further investigation, it appears that Project Explorer's report doesn't allow me to set it to use the appropriate units.  That makes the ability to use PE for generating these reports/tables USELESS.  Because of this, I haven't even confirmed that the table does update.
