Surface boundary should work as a breakline by default

Hi.

When I add a surface boundary (outer or "Show" boundary) and this boundary avoid walls, etc... then TIN lines are wrong because they try to create triangles outside the boundary, simply "hide" a portion of the triangle.

To solve this if I have 3dpoly or FL on the boundary then I have to add them as a breaklines. But Civil 3D should consider directly the boundary as a breakline of the surface to avoid this scenario because otherwise the surface will be wrong.

I fully support this as well, but for a different specific application.

I often split my proposed surface creation into two or more files, pasting the surface from one stage into the next stage, and grading other features on top of or around that pasted surface (ultimately pasting them all into a combined surface). The option to tell the surface to recognize the boundary of a pasted component as a breakline would be very helpful in so many cases.

Why not just toggle off the "non-destructive" feature? When you make the boundary destructive it does exactly what you say you want it to do. Extract the boundary, convert the 3d poly to 2d, offset it just enough to give you an appropriate buffer, and add to the surface as a destructive outer boundary and the surface stops at the last surface point and does not draw the tin lines to the boundary.
