SAC is powerful but it is also very limited by being a single snapshot in time (data is limited to current station, other than baseline.regionstart\end). I would love to see the API opened up to region information by adding the following 3 items:
- Open variables up to be held over regions (rather than being overridden on each cross section)
- Open the Baseline class up to find values over regions e.g. Baseline.Elevation(<Station>) Baseline.Slope(Station)
- Add region overrides to the corridor properties to override parameters in the corridor editor per region (rather than making new assembly for each region.
These 3 things would open up a world of possibilities as far as keeping minimum slope and ditch depths at the same time or acquiring and using profile geometry through regions for complex grading where prior\future elevations\slopes\point data could be used to create the next cross section. This would have a huge impact on what is possible in SAC.
