SAC : allow users to modify and edit Civil 3d SA template
Hello evrey one, i would like to suggest to allow users of civil 3d to modify and edit the source file of the template assemblies that installed with the program. it will be easier, faster and a lot more.
Hi @kamal.aldeen . I'm afraid the subassemblies included on the Tool Palette by default are not in PKT format, and are compatible with Subassembly Composer. There are a variety of other subassemblies shipped with the product that are in PKT format. You can find them in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\C3D 2021\enu\Subassemblies\. You can open those in Subassembly Composer and use them as a starting point to generate custom subassemblies.
Our goal is to include those PKT subassemblies on the Tool Palette in a future release of Civil 3D.
