Request that the Civil 3D MCP server (or AutoCAD/Civil 3D API) expose the rendered bounding box extents of COGO point labels in model space and/or paper space, taking into account:
- Current viewport scale
- Label style text height and content
- Label anchor point and offset
- Label rotation
This would allow AI assistants and automation tools to programmatically detect label overlaps by comparing the 2D extents of adjacent labels in the current view. Ideally this would be accessible as a queryable property on civil3d_cogopoint label objects, returning the label's minimum bounding rectangle (MBR) in WCS or viewport coordinates.
Use case: AI-assisted drawing QA — detecting and resolving overlapping point labels without requiring manual visual inspection.
