It would be a nice option to be able to project the location of a Sample line along an alingment to the profle view. This could be done using the existing project objects to profile view command, just ad sample line support. In adition it would be nice to make it dynamic.
But I agree with you that this behaviour is not dynamic. We must re-open the profile view style dialog and press [Accept] to rebuild the grids.
Moreover, we could have more than one sample line group for an alignment, so it would be interesenting a filter to choose which sample line group we want to represent like a grid.
